What is Placemaking Design
Work that has been created with the human experience prioritised, that showcases a destination, transforms an environment, uncovers and reveals a site’s history and cultural significance and where events facilitate cultural exchange.
Placemaking design s centred around observing, listening to, and consulting the people who live, work, relax and play in a public space in order to understand their needs and hopes for that space and for their community as a whole.
