A fast paced teaser trailer for novel King of Zalimu by author Tutu Mirhadi, featuring many characters from the story along with glimpses of storylines, settings, environments and scenes to give audiences an idea of the book’s vast universe without revealing too much from the overall plot or character arcs.

Working with 2D artist and digital illustrator Jessica Slinger we developed a book illustration style aesthetic, created character designs from the original text’s descriptions and added 3D special effects and lighting for extra depth and dynamic movement.

Composer David Donaldson created an original and bespoke score to accompany the animation visuals.
