SUUM Studio created a 2-minute animated explainer to launch North London Hospice’s new strategy, capturing its core values, mission, and community impact. Designed as an engaging onboarding tool, the animation serves both internal teams and the public, with adaptable versions for social media, volunteer recruitment, and community outreach.

Our approach centered on the hospice’s guiding principle: providing the best of life at the end of life. Working closely with staff, we visualized everyday moments of joy and connection—from time with family to gardening, exercise, and creativity—alongside the physical presence of the hospice across Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey.

The animation features soft-edged, diverse characters in vibrant clothing, set within photorealistic environments illuminated by a bold, neon rainbow palette. Key locations—including hospice buildings, charity shops, event spaces, and at-home care settings—were seamlessly integrated into the letterforms of the hospice’s name, symbolizing its deep roots in the community.

The final result is a dynamic, uplifting, and deeply human animation that reflects North London Hospice’s compassion, inclusivity, and vision for the future.
