SUUM studio is a Glasgow-based multimedia design and digital arts studio, co-founded by Pauline McCloy-Turtle, Creative Director and specialist in Lighting Design and Environmental Art, and Charles Turtle, Technical Director and specialist in 3D Animation, Multimedia, and Real-Time Immersive Art.
Working collaboratively with a network of composers, graphic designers, live-streaming experts, software architects, and digital artists, SUUM studio produces immersive digital content for business, media, and cultural organisations. Since incorporating in 2018, we have been three-time Scottish Design Awards finalists and are recent recipients of the UKRI Creative Catalyst Fund 2024.
At the core of our work is a fusion of digital art, immersive design, and technology. We create generative artwork and animation integrated with bespoke soundscapes, applying cutting-edge real-time rendering and Unreal Engine expertise. Our most recent venture expands into interactive app development for gaming and immersive markets, allowing us to develop our own IP.
Our mission is to explore how technology shapes human experience, crafting immersive narratives that connect audiences to both speculative and tangible realities. Through advanced design techniques, we address complex visual challenges, creating transformative digital experiences that drive engagement and deliver economic and cultural impact.
